OUR STORY
India and its rich cultural heritage has always attracted the world. There are many aspects of India’s heritage, and one of the most popular and diverse aspect is clothing. Highly influenced by its local and traditional features, every region has its own unique style of clothing. Out of the vast variety of fabrics, silk and cotton has made a special place for itself in the history of Indian weaves. The inherent art of weaving with these two versatile threads, is slowly getting lost in the modern market.
Reshamrui, is an initiative to bring the indigenous silk and cotton fabrics into the mainstream contemporary markets. Our goal is to get ethnic, chic and designer Sarees and fabric in affordable range so that it will be available for common people. The focus of our organization is to promote the use of the “swadeshi” fabrics. By doing our bit, we aim to empower our weavers and artisans.
